Being a devotee of exploration and a history enthusiast, Facial Adali developed early on a fascination for the once-thriving neighborhoods of his hometown. He crafted for himself a romanticized perception of the past, with its defining moments, rituals, and icons.
After a journey at the Fine Arts School in Casablanca, Adali explored a plethora of styles and techniques. He ultimately decided to trust his instinct and make it his true artistic expression: a fusion of vibrant, flashy colors intertwined with forms drawn from everyday objects and Moroccan heritage. All of this experimentation is carried out through a multitude of mediums : canvases, collages, and even in the digital realm.
With great admiration for the works of Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, and Andy Warhol, Faical aspires to contribute to the development of Pop Art in Morocco, a nation that proudly embraces multiculturalism as its own identity.
Since emerging onto the art scene, Faical Adali’s works have found their way into numerous public and private collections, including those at the Bayern Munich Museum and the Eastpak Artist Studio in Germany, as well. Recently, his creations have been exhibited at La Villa des Arts in both Casablanca and Rabat, further solidifying his place in the Moroccan art landscape.
